Smartphone Data Tracking is Even Creepier than you Think

Our phones are collecting data easier than you think and for even cheaper than you could think. Our digital profile is being made up of every little thing that we do. Your smart phone is tracking your behaviour and the activities you use throughout your phone. Then they take each type of data separately and show from the personal to the professionals networks that are used. This information can be used to infer personal information including a  person’s background, religion or beliefs, political views, sexual orientation and gender identity, social connections, or health. It can have advantages for a lot of different reason one big reason is so that when you are going to be searching for things you would like your phone is going to have a background to help you get to something you are gonna like. From my part I’m a little in the middle. I think yes its really weird that one phone can be collecting so much data on you. On the other hand I think it would also be helping in a way! If your phone knows about you then when you go to search something you would like to know your phone maybe able to help you.

Reflection 1-26-18

This week was overall a good week. The content we learned wasn’t to easy but it was also not super hard. Monday we didn’t have school so I got to sleep in. The Tuesday we got time to work on our tutorial, apply your knowledge and labs book work. The book work right now is all about coding and creating a template for when you are designing your website. We got to work on the book work until Friday when it was due but for me I finished early on Wednesday so I got to relax because I finished at the end of class but still had enough time for my teacher to check me off and make sure everything was right. Then Thursday when my teacher asked who was done chapter 2 we got to start the first half of our project. This project is called the Energy Can project. For the can project we had to make cans that we alike but make all different types of flavors and make them different then the normal boring flavors. Also you had to know what your energy can company was going to be and for you to have a logo that had all the can looks like they went together.

Difference Between HTML and HTML5

The meaning on html is that it can be reference as the worldwide web’s primary language. Most likely all of hosted websites on the internet are going through html. HTML is using tags to code and make a website out of all the coding you did. For example, anything you code you be an opening and closing tag so you know that your coding right so when you go to run it, it comes through correctly. Html’s standard has been developed by W3C 1997. HTMl is always being updated and the newest one is HTML 5 which had added features to change the program. HTML 5 is a primary objective of improving the world-wide web while HTML has no exceptions. A big difference between the two is that HTML wont have java script run within the browser and on the hold hand with the new updated version HTML 5 will allow you to have JavaScript running in the background. HTML 5 allows it to have improved parsing rules which provide enhanced compatibility.  Also it allows inline MathML and SVG can be used in text but normal HTML it’s not available at all. HTML 5 also has a lot of new kinds of from control, which are like email, numbers, dates, times and searches. The one primary goal of HTML 5 is to allow browsers to function as application platforms.

Reflection 1/19/18

This week was a pretty easy-going week. We had off money which was a really nice weekend because it was a three-day weekend! We had a full day on Tuesday and we got more into HTML which is really exciting! Then Wednesday we had a two-hour delay and it was so nice to sleep in. Then when we went back to school Thursday we were back to notes and learning more about HTML and we had book work on the computer which was really cool because we were coding yourself and seeing how it works.  Then Friday we had a test on our first chapter of HTML and believe it or not it was actually pretty hard. The test was based on things we already knew from the old book but the way the test was worded really confused me and messed me up so for a lot of the test i had to go with my gut and hope it was right. Even though it was really hard i didn’t do my worst. Overall, i got a 82% which isn’t the best i will say but i didn’t failed and get a C so for me i will take the 82% and hope i do better in the long run.

What is HTML?

The meaning of HTML is it’s a computer language devised to allow website creations. The websites are connected to the internet and is easy to learn, when learning the basics being accessible to most people. They can be powerful in allowing you to create. The meaning comes down to be that it is a coding source and you can use syntax and any other languages. Hypertext and markup mean that hypertext is the method on how you are able to move around the web by clicking on the special works to bring you to another page. Then the markup is what HTML tags do to the text inside them. That means its a certain type of text that you use when you are coding. Tags are the beginning and ending on your website. HTML can do also of different things like you can use any type of language you would like when you are coding. HTML can range also of different skills for you to learn and by putting them all together to then let yourself make a website that you enjoy and can be proud of because you did all the coding you needed to have the website successful just like the way you like.
