We have less then 15 days left of school! On the other hand, I had finished my Dreamweaver project that was called My portfolio a little early. The project was finished at the end of last week but it was not actually due until Wednesday the 22nd. On Monday it was a bad day, because I got a three outta four so no reason. The “reasoning” is that I was talking to much but the whole class was talking and me and Sydney were talking because we did not understand how to start the assessment we were given. This week we are started something new which is called Google Analytics Course. There is four units that the level 200 class will be completing this week into next week. The whole course is not due until next week on Tuesday. In about every lesson their is about four to five lessons under each unit that are videos we have to watch. One thing that is annoying about the videos is that the two people in the videos use way to much hand motions. After the videos are done there is a assessment that you have to get a 80% or higher to pass which is very hard.
Reflection 5/17/19
This week felt really long but It was actually was really pretty quick because I did not go to school at all on Tuesday because I had to go to Gwynedd Mercy University to pick my classes for next year when i go to college. Other then picking my classes this week all Sydney and I did was work on our portfolio project making sure that everything is right and completed in our website. Monday I worked on completing my index page and I decided that I would put my home school my tech school and the college I will be going too. After I put my schools I decided to put a different project from all three different programs that I have work in over the two years I have been in Middle Bucks. The project is do next week on Thursday but I think that I am mostly done because I have been working on this project for so long I am bored of working on it. I think next week we are working on something else after the project but I am not exactly sure what it is going to be. I’m hoping that it dose not have to do with Dreamweaver because I need a break from Dreamweaver.
Reflection 5/10/19
This week was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I got a lot done on my project, and we are coming up to the end of the school year already. For my project I worked on my about, project and contact page which are mostly all complete at this point. The only things I have left now to work on would be the known as the index or also called the home page. I am not exactly sure what I am going to do about the home page but I hope to make a layout for the home page and then start designing it by the end of the week. On the other hand I did not get to work on my project on Friday because I did not go to tech. At my home school they were having a senior day where the go have breakfast take pictures and then its was also prom day so everyone goes and gets ready for prom. But on the other hand, I did not go to prom because I not the biggest fans on dances so after I just got out of having to go to my home school classes!
Reflection 5/3/19
This week felt so long I believe that we need to have another break. I think we should go down to only four days a week because five is just to much and I am way to tired for this. I think that it should alternate going to school on Mondays then having off Fridays or having school Fridays and then off Mondays! On the other hand, I am still working on the portfolio project that is all about me which is the same as last week. I have been working on my contact page and i have it that all of my information to contact me is on the left side of the page and then on the right side I have put a form when they can fill out and contact me if they would like. I also put with my information little icon for the location, email, phone and all on my social media apps like Instagram, snapchat and you tube. All the words are links so you can click them to bring you to the pages and they are black but when you hover over the words they turn blue. Next week I will start my about page after i figure out what set up I am going for.
Reflection 4/26/19
Last week was not that bad of a week actually, the week was only three days because mbit and south both had off on Thursday and Friday because of Easter which was our spring break also. The break was very nice and really needed considering I have been just working on projects in both classes and it is frying my brain. In tech we are working on this new project called Web Portfolio, this is a project that is all about you and your projects you have worked on through the years you have been in tech. This project is going to be created in Dreamweaver because I have to create a website using the pages home, about, project and contact. This project is going to take awhile because I hate doing project about myself but i’m going to try and not be so picky about how my website is going to turn out. The hardest part about this project so far was having to make a logo for my website because everything i tried Mr. G did not like for the longest time. I am actually happy with how my project is coming along right now because I like my lay out.
Reflection 4/12/19
This week was so long and was not a good week for me. This week was just a really long week and I’m hoping next week is a lot better then this week was. On Monday My head was killing me so i was just over school even before Mr. G gave me the work i needed to do. Then on Tuesday was a little better then Monday, in class was all about studying for nocti that we started practicing for. For the practice we had to make a website making a three rows and one column table putting the information that was given into the text. Then giving a background color, floating pictures and even putting in a picture nav bar. Making the picture nav bar is something i have never done before, the best part is that making the nav bar link together for one page to another actually is no hard at all. Making the nav bar all you have to do is using the rectangle hotspot tool that you can high light th pictures and put a link over it. The website also was really bad because the brown color background is just not a attractive color for a website.
Firefox Mobile Introduces Left Handed Browsing
The left handed web is a type of browser option that can be used as a preferences for the browser to be horizontal rendering page by page. One down fall is that other areas will be easier to tap then others depending on what hand you are holding your phone in. Then with the LHW option enabled, your logo will move to the top right, and your hamburger menu to the top left. One of the biggest issues with the LHW is how different browser manufacturers choose to interpret, for some people it can be very helpful useful for people but on the other hand, it can be harder for a lot of others when locating through the browser. For example Microsoft is one of the browsers that is harder to use because of the different set of rules. As a designer I think this means that left- handed users are at the same advantage as most people because more people are right handed but left handed people are now getting the same designs. These designs are now coming from media querys that are easy to access and easy to use if you know how to use them right and will be good for using in the future.

Reflection 3/29/19
This week was a very crazy week. It pretty crazy becauses I am getting down to my last couple months of my senior year and I will be heading to college soon which is crazy. This is finally hitting me because Sydney and I just took part one of two parts of one big test. This test is called Notci and we have been getting ready for the test all last week by studying all the terms we needed to know. Our last big study time was on monday, then tuesday we took the full test whick scared me but i actually knew some of the answers faster then other. I did okay for getting the one hundred and seventy one question test done in a hour and a half but, I think I could have done better if I didn’t rush myself. If I took my time on reading the question carefully I believe i could of done better then rushing like I did. On the bright side, I didnt fail and my grade was still passing so that is a good sign. Now for next week I have to start preparing myself for the second part of nocti.
YouTube has set the stage for its own death, but can any app rise to challenge it
Since its creation in 2005, YouTube has been the go-to website (and app) for watching videos. Recently for youtube there has been a lot of downfalls when it comes to a user on this app, for intense you-tubers staging their own death. Youtube has become a really bad problem especially the earlier as 2018, you tuber now have a lot of new rules that need to be followed for you to still be able to upload any content on your channel as long as it goes by all the strict rules that youtube has set up. Another big thing that is wrong with you tuber is that they are trying to use something that is someone else’s work, that is known as copyright. Copyright in YouTube does not stand which means youtube then flagged the video for a video going up using someone else’s work the most populated copyright is using a song. You can not copyright any songs onto a video if you do not have permission to use them or they are not giving songs. The competetion that youtube is in is with different apps they need to make sure that the have good High dept just like netflix or hulu. I think overall youtube is fine and they will stay up and running so they really have nothing to worry about.
Reflection 3/22/18
This week was a pretty boring week. This week I have been working on studying for my nocti test. This test is a big test that everyone in middle bucks has to take when they are a senior. For your senior year you usually are in level 300 but I am in the 200 so I was hoping I wasn’t going to have to take the test but sadly I do have to the test. On the other hand, I have been studying all the studying on quiz let using the flashcards, taking the test, using the learn section and I think they are really helping. There are 36 terms on the one quiz let then there is 92 terms another and the last is 12 terms. Honestly I am getting tired on having to study so I can not wait until the test is finally just over. The first part of the test will be next week which is all multiple choice and then there is another part of the test is on April 8th. Also another way to study is with quizizz and its just all different types of question to help me study for, now hopefully i do good on the actual test!
