What Web Designers Can Learn From Web Developerstntnt

A designer does a lot when they are working. When designing you are never only designing one thing, you are everywhere and anywhere but still working. You have your security part which you want who ever is you are trying to do you hope you have your visitor feel safe with you to give you information. There is going responsive, that means your website will be able to respond and will go to fit any screen that you have picked to use. There also is apps you can use but its better to skip the app because it’s not used. For the designer then always want to have pictures always have something for your visitor to be able to look at and refer to. If it’s really needed designer will add a video but that is uncommon that they will add a video because it’s not exactly needed. You also need to know that you need to always have your dates set up, that is number one. Don’t fall behind on the latest trends or you will start losing people. A designer can learn all about trends, whats best for the development they are creating and also what the people like and prefer.

Refection 3/23/18

Okay march overall was a good month. It was actually a really easy month! We had off two days a couple of weeks ago for snow days and then we had off Wednesday and Thursday because of more snow. So for me snow days are really good but also suck because we are going to have to make them up sadly. Hopefully we will get off the hook and won’t have to make up the days because they already took April 30th and made it a full day instead of a half day. Monday everyone took a test in class but Sydney and I already took it on Friday. I honestly like Friday tests way better than Monday test. Tuesday there was nothing really to do in the front so we just went onto the computer and worked on the book work. Book work this week is chapter 8, it’s the last chapter in the book until we finish the book. Then we had off Wednesday and Thursday because the snow was so bad. Then for Friday we are ending while it now feels like a Monday because of the two snow days but still working on book work and our energy drink cans which i finished the banner for.

How (and Why) to get Everyone Sketching

How should we use these sketch idea? Many people use sketches to express themselves because it is easier than speaking with words. no matter what you are designing with a pencil to a sharpie anything works. you shouldn’t have a set time to draw its kinda like then when the time comes you sketch what you are feeling. You should get everyone to draw no matter if they are the best or the worst. No matter what you can sketch from something easy to hard you could get that chance to get invested! A nice easy way to get other to draw is just let them go somewhere then feel safe and want to  be and then just make them pick up a pad of paper and a pen and tell then to sketch that comes to mind. I think also of people say away from drawling because they could get judges for what they wanna draw and how it could d come our and they don’t wanna go through he trouble they could get into. Also a lot of people don’t know that they have a special skill because they have always been scared to draw or then just think they are bad so they never try.

Reflection 3/16/18

This week was a long but short week at the same time if you ask me. Monday was a good day we didn’t do too much he talked up front and then we went to the computers and were working on our chapter seven. There are only eight chapters in the whole book. Chapter seven no gonna lie was actually one of the harder ones I had some struggling in. Hopefully chapter eight wont be as hard. Tuesday we did the same mostly as Monday, we talked in the front and then we went to the back on the computers and worked on the book work. I messed up my navigation bar really bad but somehow when deleting and rewriting the same thing over again fixed it! Wednesday i was doing my outline because i forgot to do it for chapter 7 for my test. Thursday i was still working on the tutorial because i was messing up. Friday we had to study for the chapter seven test we are supposed to have on Monday. Instead of that I took it on Friday so its done and over with and i won’t have to worry about it during the weekend so i can relax!

7 Ways to Tell a Great Story with Design

This article is about the seven ways to tell a great story with web design. One is Engage with imagery it’s about when making a story you got to have a story that is going to be full on imagery, you would like something that is going to attract the people. You want a color palette that is gonna explain your story before you do, and elements that are gonna want the people knowing more. Second, is developing a character. You want a character that will get the design known, giving the character an identity. Third is invite participation, that’s about adding value to the design! You want the design to be a good story and have others be able to meet up with the company if needed. Designing a game, for a game there are tricks you are going to need to know to make everything easier. It has to also be a game that is going to be inviting and helpful. Five is make micro interactions meaningful which is connecting to get a goal of your website complete no matter what the job is but getting a point over. Then there is creating a narrative, making sure you have an order for your website, a beginning, middle and end. Last, keeping the story simple. You want your story to be able to be noticed but you don’t want anything hard you want it to be easy to understand.

Reflection 3/9/18

This week was a really easy-going week if you ask me. For this week we had off for two days because the now was so bad Wednesday and than the power out for a lot of people on Thursday so we didn’t have to go. Sadly we are going to have to make that one day up unless they just let it go but i don’t think do because there is going to be more now on Sunday we could get hit really bad with for Monday and Tuesday. Other then that on Monday I worked on some book work for chapter 6 so i would have it done for Friday. Then Wednesday and Thursday we were off and on Friday we did a worksheet to help us study for chapter six test we will be having sometime next week. i always worked on my chapter six book work and i turned them in and got them checked. It was really cool to learn about the different gradients and i can’t wait to put it forward my our web page for my energy can project. Hopefully i will be able to start making out my website for my energy drink by next week and use the skills i just learned.

Reflection 3/2/18

This week felt really long if i’m being honest. I don’t know why it felt so long but i feel like school just was so long. On Monday we were still working on chapter 5 coding for html the book work. Tuesday we worked more on the book work. Wednesday we were doing activities that were exercise for making our website we had from a fixed to a fluid layout. Thursday wasn’t that bad we didn’t have a lot to do we did a paper to study for the test and then i worked on my cans i’m really happy with the way my cans are turning out. On Friday we had a test the test was actually really easy for once. The test wasn’t to much to do it was only true and false and multiple choices and a couple fill in the blanks. The multiple choice was actually a lot of the same questions but reworded differently. After the test we started chapter 6 we got the online and then we started the html coding part because my teacher Mr. G isn’t here to teacher us about chapter 6 which means we will be getting a lesson on Monday most likely and I can’t wait to learn more html.

Beginner’s Guide to Responsive Web Design

What is responsive web design? Responsive web design is for a website to be able to redesign itself by the layout magically adjusting to fit the width and height you are making the size on the window on your document to be. Another example is for you to be on your phone and then if you wanted something bigger you could go to a table or desktop and the web page would always fit the screen and maybe add or get rid of things that are not going to be needed on screen. The problem that it solves is that the page goes to fit the screen you are using and its not making it to big or to small. Plus it’s making it easier for the reader to understand what they are trying to get by the information not being to much to have to scroll. What are fluid grids? Fluid grids are a part of liquid layouts they are the part that expands the page and also fixes width layout. Fluid grids are more steps then the liquid layout they go based on the rigid pixels or the arbitrary percentage values. Overall, fluid grid is more carefully designed in terms.

Reflection 2/23/18

This week was a really low week for me. I feel like class was just going by so low.  In the beginning of the week we were working on chapter 4 in HTML because we had to finish up our book work which was the tutorial, apply your knowledge and lab one and two. We had our chapter 4 test Thursday and then we moved onto our new chapter which was chapter 5. Chapter 5 was all about being able to make the website into no matter what the screen size was its going to fit the size of the screen. For example, you can to make the website but no matter if it’s a size for a phone screen you want to be able to extend it to a computer and maybe able more information to fill up the screen but less information when dealing with the website on your phone, but having bottoms to click for more information. For chapter 5 we are having another online that we will be able to use for our test. But on Friday we started our book work so it made Friday a chill day because we just went on the computer and we didn’t have to do some worksheet which are a little activities.
