This week was a shortened week because we didn’t have Monday for school because it was memorial day and we have off school for that day to pay our respects to the ones that fought and the ones that survived. Other than that we only have been focusing on our websites for the whole week. This project we have been spending a lot of time on DJ Turntable making sure it’s all perfect and making sure we have all the content down. This week I worked on a lot of my pages i did the content of the home, about, my story and the packages page. I still have to take my time to design the way i would like to have it layed out but for now I have the content down and set to where i will have something to work with and all I will have to do is make it look nicer and more presentable. This project as much and I don’t like when I get stuck I do like working in adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver because they are something I do enjoy to do as much as it stresses me out I still get it done and I hope it turns out the way I want it to in the end.
Reflection 5-25-18
This week in Web design the class was a pretty busy class. Everyone in the class has to be working really hard because we have a big final project that is due in about two weeks. This project is a lot of work and it makes you really use your brain so you make everything perfect and to my understanding exactly how you would like it to look. On the other hand, you are not having to make all the content up yourself because we have a booklet we were giving that we are having to follow the book and put the content in that was giving but at the same time we are being able to pick the colors we would like, for me i have picked to go with a more pink theme. Then for the font we got to pick the fonts we would like to be able to use. For our background where I have picked to put my logo on i did a picture that was a picture of a DJ set with a lot of lights that were nice and colorful, I really like the picture because it relates to the project but its a little different to all the kids in the class with the concert theme.
Reflection 5/18/18
This week was a one of the easier weeks of all the weeks we have been doing Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver is a-little hard for me to wrap my head around when we first started. Now getting to the end I still have a couple of parts on what I don’t understand but I’m thankfully getting better. This week we finished Dreamweaver which was chapter 12,13, 14 and 15. Chapters were as hard because they were long maybe 20 pages. The other chapters before it were really hard because they were really long and confusing that I fell behind a-little. Other than that I was sick Monday so I didn’t get to go to school. Tuesday we worked on the chapters and I got chapter 12 done and finish thankfully. Then Wednesday I worked on chapter 13, it was a-little confusing but I got it done. Thursday was chapter 14 and 15, they were really small and short chapters. Then on Friday I got to start the project that we were a-signed. The project is all about getting to create a website that we come up with by everything we are going to be using with the website and how it needs to be set up was given to us. Hopefully the project isn’t hard for me and I can do well on the project!
Reflection 5/11/18
This week at middle bucks was a nice week because the weather was so nice. On Monday the weather was a little cold but it was better then freezing. This week we had to work on chapters nine, ten and eleven. Chapter nine was really long so it took me a good full two days to work on chapter nine. Then there was chapter ten which was pretty long too and having to read the book tutorial you really need to make sure that you follow all that is written because you don’t wanna forget a step and mess up your whole webpage. Messing up a part of the webpage is the worst because if you don’t know what you did wrong you could be sitting there was awhile trying to figure out what was wrong and how you can fix it. For me sometimes its a easy mistake like in chapter ten, I put the wrong code in the wrong spot. Thankfully chapter eleven was really easy and wasn’t as long as the other chapters. I worked pretty slow with the chapter and now im not going to be getting full credit because i wasn’t able to do any of the projects.
Reflection 4-27-18
On Monday we went over how to be able to save our folders for Dreamweaver. He told us where everything should be going and how we should have it set up so we will be more organized for all of our chapters. On Tuesday we went over in the beginning on class all about chapter five. I was still on chapter three when i went to go on the computer. You had the book to do then the project which you got to design how you would like. Then Chapter four was a very easy chapter because you only had to read the book and then do a worksheet. Thursday I have started chapter five with the book tutorial and then will move onto the project after I have watched the video that will help me with the project. Friday I make sure I have chapter three, four and five submitted correct because they are due at the end of the day. Overall, from last week when i was struggling with saving the chapters I’m starting to understand all more than i was, i still needed help with saving the chapter 3 project but hopefully I will stop confusing myself and I don’t forget to save or save something in the wrong spot.
Reflection 4/20/18
This week was crazy! On Monday we got an extra day to finish our big html website project. Thankfully I’m so happy I had that extra day because I really needed it to make sure everything was all put together. Then on Tuesday almost the whole day we got time to present our projects and show them off to the class of all our different ideas and then different themes we all came up with. Then Wednesday was a full new topic! Wednesday we learned about Dreamweaver! To be honest i don’t know how I feel about the whole topic because its Thursday now, so it has been two days but I am really confused on the whole having to save and where I should be saving it too. I wish It was like HTML. HTML is easier to comprehend because you are just putting in the code where you need and you are only using one folder for every chapter. Dreamweaver you are getting a little break with not having to write as much coding but when having to save your work, you have to save it to a root folder and into another folder and name different titles. Overall, for me it’s very confusing but hopefully i understand it soon.
Reflection 3/13/18
How did this week go for me? This week was actually a very stressful week for me if i must say. There was alot on my plate that i have to worry about this whole week. Well first we had a project that was due at the end of the week. This project was one of the biggest projects we have done. It stressed me out actually alot more then i thought it was going to. Thankfully i finished the project on time, but sadly i think i could have done alot better and am little upset at myself for not getting to the vision i had in my head. The project over all was really fun because i got to test my limits and to c where i could get! Sadly the stress got to me when my teacher said the project was due at the end of the week, it wasn’t the best because yes we were working on the project for a long time but i fell behind in book work making me not have alot of time to work on the project plus we had off MBIT on monday so that lost another day so we only had four days this week but thankfully i finished on time and i hope all my hard work payed off and i did good on my project!

Is Dreamweaver a popular software program? Yes Dreamweaver is a very popular software program for creating websites and also no coding needed for it! Dreamweaver is good for you because you don’t need to know any coding but the best web techniques would be if you do know HTML and CSS so you can improve even more. Dreamweaver relies on the “WYSIWYG” platform, because you can’t make something better if you aren’t trying to make it better. Dreamweaver can be really helpful in the web process because it can make templates for you and nice layouts that you will be able to make something you are happy with and would like to be viewed. Some reasons Dreamweaver maybe not helpful would be its not the best designing method for your designer. Without doing the code for HTML and CSS the program could make you lazy and lack in being the best designer you could or was. Also Dreamweaver is a very expensive program when there also that are as useful and cheaper. Overall, if you wanna use Dreamweaver that is okay but don’t give up and not use html and CSS because that’s going to make your websites even better and not look like also of silly and lazy work.

Reflection
This week was bad because of squid. She was annoying me all week. Other than that it wasn’t bad. On Monday MBIT was open but i didn’t go because my home school south had a two-hour delay so i wasn’t required to go so i picked to stay home and sleep in. Then Tuesday i had a meeting in the morning so i went into MBIT late. Then Wednesday it was back to a normal school classes. In school we didn’t do anything mostly just worked on the computer on the project called the energy drink project. It’s a big project and its due next Friday. Then Thursday was a really big study day, we had a test Friday which is today that was on coding but this time we did the coding on the computer. Then we can to print the code and give it to my teacher and then get the test. Thankfully the test wasn’t long at all it was only twenty-two questions but they were all multiple choice and they weren’t hard. The only hard ones we two questions that were a little tricky on the wording but over all that easy and now i just hope i did good!
